Continuing its commitment to the many customers running on the IBM i platform, Oracle announces a new, easy-to-use rapid implementation tool for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Oracle JD Edward EnterpriseOne Express Implementation for IBM i on Power Systems is a pre-built, pre-tested solution that enables you to bring up your system in days, rather than weeks.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for IBM i on Power Systems dramatically reduces the time required to bring up a complete, fully functioning JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system. The result is a faster implementation and lower cost of ownership.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for IBM i on Power Systems includes the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne enterprise server, database server and HTML server. Powered by the Oracle Universal Installer, it provides all the scripts necessary to automatically install the needed components of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, including Development Server and Change Assistant.

This new implementation tool is particularly valuable for new customers who want to quickly implement a basic JD Edwards EnterpriseOne set of environments or existing customers who want to upgrade to the latest release. Optimised to work with IBM Power 7 technology running the IBM i V7R1 Operating System and IBM WebSphere Express 7.0, it provides a rapid base installation of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Release 9.0 Update 2 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 8.98.4.
