Case Study: 3rd Party Manufacturing – Integrated
Juken realises a seamless integration of the International Sales Ordering System with their JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
Juken is a New Zealand-based manufacturer of high quality wood panels, engineered wood and solid wood products made from trees grown in our own expertly managed sustainable forests.
Juken uses JD Edwards EnterpriseOne within New Zealand, but the international group they belong to run a standalone sales ordering and finished goods stock control system called the JK System. This system was not integrated with the NZ instance of JDE.
Juken engaged Jireh to lead the project to integrate the JK System with their NZ instance of JDE in order to eliminate the double entry that was occurring.
This integration had some challenges because of the very different technologies on which the international sales ordering system is based, but after a robust project the two systems were successfully integrated. Sales orders created and updated in the international sales ordering system are now passed through to the NZ instance of JDE seamlessly.
Juken have expressed their appreciation to Jireh for the focused approach to the project, finding a way through the challenges as they arose and successfully implementing the integration of the two disparate systems.
