Bendon successfully changes the balance date within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
Bendon is one of the world’s leading intimate apparel companies and has been in business for more than 60 years. Its current international reputation and success is based on its innovation, design expertise, quality products, superior infrastructure and business leadership.
Bendon had a business requirement to change their balance date from 31 March to 30 June as this would better align with their corporate group reporting cycle and with their product seasons. No simple task.
Bendon engaged Jireh to lead the project to change the balance date while also preserving the ability to report history against the 31 March balance date that had applied in earlier years.
Jireh then led a project to determine the approach, implement, test and then deploy the solution to Bendon’s production JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system. The project went live on time and within budget.
